☼ The Route to Net Zero: A Manifesto for ZIPPY

In line with international and customer requirements of net-zero carbon emission, GHG reduction to combat the climate change crisis has become an important international issue. Net zero transformation actions are related to the competitiveness of countries and enterprises. ZIPPY manufactures micro switches and power supplies with high-efficiency green business models to promote the low-carbon transformation of the supply chain.

To effectively reduce the impact of climate risk in response to the net zero goal in 2050 and customers' carbon reduction requirements, ZIPPY has set the carbon reduction targets in our annual group business plans based on the SBTi 2.0°C.

ZIPPY implements the circular economy into the early product design stage, prioritizing resource reuse, and waste reduction. As a member of the green supply chain, ZIPPY’s improvement of energy efficiency of power supply products and automatic assembling of micro switches with high efficiency exactly meet the increasing demand for low-carbon energy. ZIPPY provides clean and efficient energy consumption solutions in this era of energy transformation, expecting to become one of the trailblazer companies in the low-carbon environmental protection industry.

We act pursuant to the Recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures and other relevant documents, and report climate issue governance performance to the sustainable development committee and the board of directors for their supervision and decision-making, through management mechanisms such as identification and management of climate-related risks and opportunities, and setting carbon reduction targets. We also incorporate climate change risk considerations into the existing risk management structure, and continually respond to the concerns and expectations of the government, customers, investors and the general public for ZIPPY's climate governance.

Reduce emissions by 2% every year from the base year 2022 to achieve the target of 20% reduction in 2032.
Annual carbon emissions intensity dropped by 0.5%.
